1. Where are SLABB tables made?
All our tables are handmade to order in our workshop at Stowfield Cable Works in the Wye Valley, UK.
2. How long will my order take?
Our standard lead time is around 3 weeks from order confirmation to delivery. We’ll keep you updated at each stage of the process.
3. Do you have stock ready to ship?
No — every table is made to order to ensure the highest quality and finish.
4. Can I choose my own size or colour?
We currently offer two standard sizes in three concrete colours (white, grey, black) and two leg finishes (black or silver). If you have a specific size in mind, contact us to discuss custom orders.
5. How much do the tables weigh?
Our tables are solid concrete and steel, so they are heavy. Weight varies by size, but you should expect a two-person lift minimum for safe handling.
6. Can you deliver through my house?
No — we require flat access or access to a goods lift. We cannot deliver through a house due to the size and weight of our products.
7. What if my table arrives damaged?
In the rare event of damage during transit, please contact us within 48 hours with photos. We’ll arrange collection and either repair or replace the item at no cost to you.
8. Do you accept returns?
Because every table is handmade to order, we cannot accept returns unless the item is faulty or damaged.
9. How do I care for my table?
We recommend re-sealing your tabletop once a year with our recommended sealant. Clean with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and avoid harsh chemicals.
10. Can SLABB tables be used outdoors?
Yes — our tables are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. If using outdoors, yearly resealing is essential for long-term durability.
11. Do you ship outside the UK?
Not at the moment — we currently deliver to UK addresses only.
12. Do you have a showroom I can visit?
We don’t have a dedicated showroom, but a demo product will be on display soon at Wye Valley Country Stores.
