The Slabb Original Rectangle Dining Table is a bold, beautiful centrepiece for any modern space — indoors or out. Hand-poured in our Wye Valley workshop and set on a solid welded steel frame, this table combines raw materials with refined detail. They are designed for real durability and real life.

Table Frame

The Slabb table frame is made form high quality mild steel, mig welded and bolted together for real strength. The bolt together design allows easier shipping whilst maintaining strength. The frame is finished with either black or clear coat powder coating, allowing them to withstand the elements. As with anything steel, they will eventually rust and discolour but this wont be for a long time. Due to the design we can simply replace the frame or part of the frame when this happens. If you live in a costal area this will be significantly accelerated due to the harsh nature of living by the sea.

The Slabb

The Slabb table top is hand made to order from solid, real, reinforced concrete. Due to this, every table is unique, no two tables are the same. Every material is meticulously measured, calculated and controlled in our Wye Valley workshop, but there will always be variations to the finish and colour. This can include seeing raw materials like aggregate (sand and stones), colour differences across the table with lighter and darker areas and tiny pin prick air bubbles.

Each table is finished with a high grade sealer which is water and heat resistant. The water resistance helps avoid staining from spills and allows the table to be suitable for outdoor use, as with any table we recommend wiping spills as soon as possible. You can place warm items like plates and even a pan straight on the table, although we don’t recommend placing anything over 50 Degrees C straight on the table.
